On the very track where the bobsled and luge champions of the world race against one another to gain a hundredth of a second, you can also experience the rush and thrill of a bobsled ride.

What is our special bobsled, known as the "Kini-bobberl"?
Its length is almost that of a 4-man bobsled, its speed close to that of a locomotive and is as much fun as a roller coaster.

What is the "Kini-bobberl" made of?
The "Königssee Express" is made of foam rubber sealed into a plastic body.

How many passengers can it take?
It is usually manned by a one-time German, European or World Champion in bobsled or luge racing, as well as three courageous ladies or gentlemen.

Only EUR 30,-- for an unforgettable ride.

The visitor's bobsledding can only be booked through the tourist office of Schönau am Königssee. All you need is a pair of gloves and a little courage. The difference of elevation from start to finish is about 110 m (360 ft) and the total length of the run is 1300 m (4265 ft). Participation is at your own risk!
