Mount Kehlstein & The Eagle's Nest

Treat yourself a very special day in the Berchtesgadener country and enjoy your trip up to Mt. Kehlstein.

You start with one of the special buses and go up the famous Kehlsteinroad, breathtaking views to the Berchtesgadener valley and upon the cliffy mountain sides accompany you. Nearly 100 meters below the peak the road ends. A tunnel leads into the mountain and inside you take the lift up to the "Eagle's Nest".

As night falls over the Berchtesgadener Alps, the rocky tops glimmer pink in the final sunrays. The silence and the view to the vastness will remain for a long time in your mind.

Closed during winter from November to mid of May depending on the weather conditions.

departure time: 7:40 o'clock - first shuttle bus leaves at car-park Hintereck, then every 25 minutes.

last approach: 16:25 o'clock, return at 17:15 o'clock
if necessary because of unfavourable weather conditions last approach at 16:00 o'clock.
