Remarks & Advices
The order in which the various lodgings are listed does not reflect their quality standard but rather their price range. The list starts with hotels, followed by inns, B & Bs, private lodgings, farms, self-catering apartments and campgrounds. The information given is believed to be correct but is subject to error and change for which we cannot be held responsible.
Room reservations should be done in writing directly with the renter. For a reservation during high season (April through October, as well as Christmas and New Year's) it is advisable to book well in advance.
Reservations are binding for both the visitor and renter. These rules and regulations are stipulated by the German Hotel Regulations Authority.
A complete breakfast is served by every renter and should consist of one small pot of coffee or tea, cocoa or milk, 20g of butter, 30g of jam or honey and three rolls (or two rolls and one slice of whole-wheat bread). Renters who offer a so-called "extended breakfast" should serve - at no extra cost - at least an egg, cold cuts or cheese, as well as the "complete breakfast" items listed above.
Prices listed as all-inclusive are binding, unless a drastic economic development forces a total price change. Possible discounts for children are to be agreed upon between the renter and the guest.
The range in "from - to" prices corresponds to the time of year and - to a certain degree - to the facilities available in the various rooms of the same establishment. The following prices are based on a minimum of three nights and are to be understood per person, per night.

Rights and Duties
As usual in business life, there's a legal regularisation for the booking of rooms, too. A reservation that has been made by a guest and is accepted by a host, causes a contractual relationship between both parties, which is called guest's accomodation contract. As well as all contracts this one can be suspended just by mutual agreement of both parties. In detail there result following rights and duties from the contract:
1. The guest's accomodation contract is concluded as soon as the room has been ordered and accepted or if an acceptance wasn't possible any more because of temporal reasons, but the room had been made available.
2. The conclusion of the guest's accomodation contract obliges the contractual partners to fulfilment, no matter of the contract's duration.
3. The host has the duty to pay damages, if he doesn't provide the room.
4. The guest is obliged to pay the costs as aggreed or customary in case of non-usage, less the host's saved disbursements.
5.a The host is obliged in all conscience to let the room otherwise if it hasn't been used, to avoid losses.
5.b Until the room is let otherwise, the guest has to pay for the outstanding amount (as calculated according to point 4) as long as the contract dures so far.
